Awesome! Totally awesome!

Plus - Sharlto Copley FTW!

Looks awesome. I've seen some excellent FPS action shorts in the last couple of years and I bet this would be a really cool flick - the promo video is excellent.

WTF?!?! :stunned:

My inner 15 year old just came.

Too bad I can't check out the website at work, because they've got the word "hardcore" blocked as pornography. :annoyed:

I bet $1,000,000 if this film gets into production... a FPS game is produced of it!

It's already been shot and edited.

The crowd funding is for money to complete post production (VFX, Sound, Mixing) as the production budget ended up expanding. The top video on the funding page, at the start, has some other behind the scenes shots from the movie and it looks crazy!

Also - yes - I'd imagine a videogame tie-in is inevitable. :D But perhaps it might be a side scrolling 8/16-bit-alike tie-in as that'd be far easier to produce than a full on first person shooter.

Stupid, illogical, daft, a bit repetitive, but generally original, inventive and bloody insane fun!

I'd actually say some of the action is almost a work of art at times it's so insane and well done!

Being that it's all in POV, did you ever feel a bit queasy? I've never really had a problem with, say, films like Cloverfield, but I've often found that handheld videos (e.g. someone shooting a Comic-Con panel from the audience without the use of a tripod) can give me a headache and make me feel quite sick after about 20 minutes of it. I've never had a problem from handheld movies, it's always been amateur shot stuff ... so maybe there's more to it that makes it watchable in proper productions?

Maybe just a tiny bit, but I'm not sure if that was the King Prawn linguine I'd hoofed down before hand, with the the two scoops of Ben and Jerry's ontop!

BTW- There was me, a mate and Mr Random Other Bloke in the showing... And that was it!

Saw it tonight, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Doubt I'd want to see it again, but it was a fun one time ride. Did get a bit redundant by the time he's fighting all the doods in white jumpsuits, though...

Yes, got a bit repetitive at times... But other moments in it, more than made up for that IMHO.

I suspect I could watch it again at some stage, but I sort of feel like that film has fulfilled the novelty of the first person element of it. ie: I can't imagine seeing more films like this!
