What about Garland and Boyle? Are they behind it?

Nay on Garland and I think Boyle is only doing producer duties this time around.

Ouch. It's not looking good already.

Any news on who IS directing/writing the film?

Director attached to the film is a Spanish director named Juan Carlos Fresnadillo and the person writing the script is one Rowan Joffe.

Never heard of either of them.

Imdb shows them as not having too many projects, so maybe they're some up-and-comers that the original creators stumbled across and liked their work......

I'm hoping for the best...

I'm hoping for the best...

That's all I feel like I can do, as well. In truth, I'm worried, but, in the end, it's just a movie and I can always pretend it never happened (a la Highlander 2) if it reall sucks.

...sigh...everytime a brit film does well (cough mean machine cough!) someone gets another director to do a ****ty sequel or ''reenvision of the origional'' , danny boyle left the story were it was because it had an end, they all starved to death.

my bet is this sequel starts with:

"for 28 days they were racked with rage ...then they died....then 28 weeks later they got up again!"

if you havent guessed im thinking its gonna go intoa full blown zombie cheese fest.

**** that! ......in the words of dave chappelle:lol:

"WUTANG!"
