The amount of spam I'm getting is rediculous! For example, I got 25 spam emails in the last HOUR!!!

These guys need to be stopped! If we can put a man on the moon, surely we can stop spam!!!!

They are all evil and therefore must be destroyed. ;)

Unfortunately the only way I have found to reduce spam is spend a heap load of time doing unsubscribe me. :(

What I really don't get are the spam emails which have no sender, no title and no content, they're not even 1k in size. What on earth is the point in those!?

And also, something I've been hassled with, guestbook/webring spam. I had a webring back in the day (pretty much defunct, but still there now) and all I get is a constant slew of websites selling medication or casinos or some crap (mostly if not all from google email addresses - come on google - sort that sh*t out!), so I just let them stack up and every now and then I go and deny them all, so only I see them - hence - WHY bother you f*cking spamming twats!

ive got a kick ass spam filter so only last week did i get my first ever spam email and here it was :

"Wow people. Today, I have tried first time viagra. I will haven't enough awords to describe everthing, but I didn't do it somthing like this, then I was in college. My wife is happy, smiles and sing a songs. Wow. My sex life get a new level. I recommend you to try, you got new feelings. http://****-spam-bots.com"


...yeah ,i know......:lol:

that said i used to get that bastard winfixer pop up every few minutes.

Turn your spam filter on. There should be a button on your email that says "mark as spam" and that SHOULD block most of the spam.

The problem is that most spam filters are set to block words like "free" or something equally spammy, so they'll send you mail with crap like $FREE$, or FR33 to defeat the blocker (I used to work for a spammer until I found out what he did). Best thing to do is turn over the spam to the filter or sign up for a new email account and do NOT frequent nudie sites. On my new AOL account I have never visited a porn site and I have never recieved spam either.
