Seems IS have been collection radioactive material - http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/middle-east/isiss-dirty-bomb-jihadists-have-seized-enough-radioactive-material-to-build-their-first-wmd-10309220.html

The Isis militant group has seized enough radioactive material from government facilities to suggest it has the capacity to build a large and devastating “dirty” bomb, according to Australian intelligence reports.

I wonder if they are stupid enough to use such a weapon. Can you imagine the military response that would greet them? That said, that assumes a modicum of logic and reason, something I think we can clearly discount on their previous actions...

I agree with you Neil. Filming yourself cutting people's heads off is child's play compared to a dirty bomb. To be honest, I wouldn't put it past them. Once the beheading people headlines became stale, they started trying to be creative in their murder film propaganda videos. Getting the U.S. Government to bomb a Doctors without Boarders clinic was pretty clever (on their part) though. Not the first time they have set up the U.S. military to look bad either.
