Ooh! Interesting choice! I'd heard some rumours a while ago about Jon Hamm being in the running (or maybe it was pure speculation), but considering his work in the likes of Watchmen, this choice should provide some very entertaining telly! :)

Wow...just...wow. Totally not what I would have expected. Looks like they might be going the same route as The Governor, casting someone who makes the character more realistic & believable & no as much "comic book villain". Great actor, but recognizable. Not sure how I feel about John Winchester/The Comedian as Negan. :D

Well, this is just the official announcement - the decision will have been made a while ago. By the sounds of it he's a "guest star" in Season 6, and then a "series regular" in Season 7. So we'll be seeing him before the end of the season, whether that'll just be the season finale or not we'll have to wait and see, but I think it's pretty certain we'll be seeing him towards the back of Season 6B.

I'm really looking forward to his portrayal of Negan. As The Comedian he had that mix of swagger and threat, charisma and something very dark indeed ... I reckon that'll see him work well for Negan. :cool::thumbsup::)
