Did anyone else watch Channel 4's four-part drama "National Treasure"?
It just finished last night and, no spoilers, it was flippin' brilliant. Cleverly written, too - so many actions or words can be taken in multiple ways, easily appearing sinister or entirely normal simultaneously. The story was deep into the 'grey areas' at times with things seeming one way, but then another under examination, and then yet another way all things considered.
It was properly gripping, too. I was champing at the bit for each new episode. Robbie Coltrane and Julie Walters in particular were absolutely stellar. The whole cast was very good, likewise with the writing and directing. If you've not had a look at it, definitely check it out. Highly recommended!
