anybody noticed from the website for this remake that one of the lead chars has changed from black to white ??? why?? Even though Romero says that he did not cast him black intentionally.

They probably did'nt have enough money to get a good black actor. You know Ving Rahmes was taken.

yeah thats true, but if your gonna make a Sh*** (just assuming after all the other remakes I have seen) rip off then at least keep to the values and traditions of the orignal writer/director. I didnt see a single coloured person the cast. One of the endearing factors of NOTLD was that GAR casted a lead heroic black man, a very new concept at the time.

If they cast a black actor, he would have to be a gangster and then it would be a hood movie. THey would have to put a white or Korean Grandma in Hiphop gear and speak with a hilarious black affect to buddy up to the gangster (because all white folks are super corny).
