Well well well!

Around 60 women over five decades have publicly accused the Emmy award-winning actor of being a sexual predator. But statute of limitation laws mean that only one charge has been brought to trial.

Some of his accusers were present in court, and cried as the guilty verdict was returned.

So, R Kelly next?

I’m surprised, I figured this would be another case of the rich and famous getting away with it.

Hasn't that infamous case been through the legal process already, and something about local law in whatever state it was meaning it was technically legal (albeit still proper grody)? Or are you referencing something else?

I was just watching a Joe Rogan clip about this, too:

I'm glad, but at the same time, the fact that it happened is awful... That he did the things he did, I mean. Trump next maybe? Ah but I dream...

Was watching another Joe Rogan clip and now I see what you meant by referencing R Kelly! Yeah ... that looks friggin' dodgy.

Is the R Kelly thing where he took a leak on some girls?

No, he's "allegedly" got a long history of supposedly picking up young (under age) girls, and generally just be very sexually manipulative towards women. He was "allegedly" known to frequent a fast food bar straight across the road from a school in order to pick up school girls.

Allegations of a "sex cult" and a "sex dungeon", plus his curious relationship with Aaliyah (she died in a plane crash in 2001), and the infamous tape (he was found not guilty on all counts relating to that particular one) ... and then there's all the grim stuff circling around underage females. *shudders* Serious allegations, therefore.

There's a scary whiff of a 'network' of like-minded people about the "sex dungeon" part. Odd how with all the stuff going on at the moment that the things Corey Feldman has been talking about for years have seemingly been ignored again.

And suddenly the Matthew McConaughey line from Dazed and Confused is alot less funny. :(

3-10yrs - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-45644374

The article states a number in written format and then a number in numeric format. Odd - "Comedian Bill Cosby has been sentenced to three to 10 years in state prison for sexual assault"

How can a sentence be from 3 to 10 years? That's a really wide bracket.

I can understand 3 to 5 years, or 8 to 10. But, a few years to an eighth of your life? How is that even calculated?

Other sources are using this odd way of doing the numbers? You stick to one style or the other. Not mix them!

They're probably just copy/pasting huge chunks of the text and tweaking it a little bit, or maybe the articles are getting written by computers rather than people?
