HTTPS SSL Certification Introduction

We're in the process of introducing SSL certificates to this site, mainly to prevent security warnings being shown by some browsers. eg: Chrome.

For a week or so the site will be in transition as it moves across. In the meantime can you please:-
1) Update your bookmarks to https://forum.homepageofthedead.com
2) If you encounter any issues/problems/messages please report them in this thread.

I’m not sure if it’s relevant, but for the last five days or so, occasionally when i open HPotD, I get a warning page:

“This connection is not private. This website may be impersonating forum.homepageofthedead.com to steal your personal or financial information. You should go back to the previous page.”

It’s happened on about 5-8 different occasions over the last week or so, but I’d never seen it before then. Using safari on an iphone.
