Well well well... Only just spotted this...

Let's just hope it's better than the Day Of The Triffids adaptation they did a few years back!

Lovely. I'm in.

Period setting is correct. Paddy Considine. Looks good.

I think a lot of people are going to be disappointed with this.

Initial reviews from a day or two on IMDB were not good :(

I've seen the first episode and it's very poor indeed and it's really nothing like the HG Wells book.

So it's another Day Of The Triffids f*** up again?

I can't recall how bad 'Day of the Triffids' was, but remember not liking it. So, maybe yes?

Hey, kinda off topic, but did anyone catch the BBC Watership Down series? I love the film, is it worth a watch?

It's on BBC 1, Sunday 17th, 9pm. Really not expecting much other than some typical modern over glammed up w@nk TBH!

This clip underlines that concern... Basically super wuper duper magic powers rather than simply grounded solid story telling...

How do I put this politely?

It was utter, utter, mind crippling, shite.

Well, that was all a bit needlessly shallow and mediocre wasn't it... Probably the second episode was the strongest.
