Yes, this is indeed a full feature version of the 'fake trailer' from Grindhouse.

Bummer that Michael Biehn isn't reprising the role of the town sheriff, but looking forward to it.

I don't remember the Grindhouse trailer it was based on, and went back and watched it. That one looks mildly amusing, this one looks really dull.

It's not a great teaser, I'll give you that ... a bit too staid by comparison.
