I was over at The Living Dead weekend in Monroeville last year and a few of the guests I spoke to mentioned he wasn't in great shape and it was never thought he could have made it to the event. Very sad considering it was the biggest cast reunion in who knows how long. :

Few pics below of a cosplay guy who really looked good. He did the whole sequence when zombie flyboy stops and turns to walk down the corridor leading all the zombies that breaks through the false wall. We were all lined up down the side of the corridor. Got goosebumps as it was the actual location:cool:

The bust pic was in one of the merchandise shops. Not sure if it was for sale though. Would've looked cracking on my shelf:p

So sad to hear. He was in such a great movie, with a fun role! He'll always be fondly remembered.
