Cool premise and they had me...they really had me, till the term madcap ninja was used.

I'll see if I can get my hands on a copy this fall, and see how it looks. I think it deserves a fair chance.

I read as far as "Ninja", after which I stopped reading.

So much for historically accuracy. Not really that big of an issue, but must every piece set in Feudal Japan feature some kind of mysterious ninja?
