A friend of mine is visiting Hong Kong, so I gave him a little shopping list of a camera I was looking for, and a battery and memory card to go with it.

I gave him prices that if he could get it for (or cheaper) then to go for it.


Received a phone call from him this afternoon... He was in a shop (in Hong Kong!), and couldn't even remember the make of the camera, yet alone the model. On top of this he was drunk :eek:


What the hell am I going to end up with :)

I think Neil will be lucky to end up with a pencil & pad of paper, the idea of a drunk western guy staggering around a tech shop in Hong Kong like a bull in a ... tech shop, is freakin' hilarious.

your going to end up with a refurbished Sony walkman circa 1983. inside a OEM sony box with "GUd Kameera!!!" scrawled on the top.

i cannot wait to see the outcome from all of this.
