seems the same complaint seems to be it gets boring fast. also state of emergency with zombies came up to .

It does look like one of those repetitive kill-kill-kill games where that's all you really do is just pointlessly kill. I mean, don't get me wrong, it looks like it has some potential and the gameplay looks sweet. But unless there's a multiplayer addition, it looks like one of those games you buy, slash endlessly with a thousand weapons all night, then toss in your pile of forgotten games for a few months.

Bingo. I;m not expecting anything epic. Perhaps a decent storyline, and lots of zombies available to kill. I think the reviewers bought into their own excitement for the game and we're expecting alot more than what the triler indicates. hence why reviewers are asshats.
