and its great to see danny boyle got 3 films in the top 50 more than any other, nice to see that us 'dannys' are taken seriously even with a girly name :lol:.

I am happy to see Shaun in the top 10, hell top 5. However, I have only seen 50% of that list and I can't make an honest decision if it is correct or not, but thanks for posting it.

Where is this list from, and what's it based on--box office revenues, film quality, or overall popularity?

Other than Trainspotting and Monty Python, nothing in the top 10 deserves to be there. The fact that Lawrence of Arabia, The Third Man and Dr Strangelove are so low down makes this list void. It's based on popularity within popular culture, not on actual quality of film.
