QuickTime...

I recently installed the new QuickTime (version 7) and it completely sucks, it's a system hog and most videos now crash in it, they just freeze up, especially if you want to skip through the video, which is often what I end up doing anyway.

I've been trying to find an older version to download, but can't find it, so does anyone have a link (legal link please) to an older version (the version before QuickTime 7 came out).

There is a quicktime TSR program that starts at boot. Get rid of that and your PC will run better.

Yeah I remember 6 (like 6.5 I think) being the last version that really worked for me (I only upgraded to watch some video of Kevin Smith at this year's ComicCon), not sure which - both I guess, lol, regular and pro.
