Need some opinions guys.
I'm going on holiday next week (thankfully not Turkey) And I'm thinking about buying Brian Keenes' The Rising and City of the Dead. I'd appreciate some feedback from anyone whose read them.
I've got Reign of the Dead/Apocalypse End (Courtesy of Paul_Annett) which I've read to death.
Subject matters not very "holiday", but if it blocks out the screaming bairns and pished parents, it works for me!
Any other reading suggestions would be great.

I love The Rising and wish I hadn't packed it away after reading it... because now, months later, I really want to read it again.

I recommend it.

as usual im gonna recommend autumn from theinfected.com cus its one of my favourites:D , but if i were you id rather get some comic trade paperbacks since there the next best thing to a movie, id suggest the walking dead and avatars (*spitting noise*) black gas series.

as for the rising ive allways thought it incredibly over rated in my opinion way to boring for my tastes.:bored:

You read "Cell" yet, by Stephen King? If you haven't, I'd recommend it. Very enjoyable read with twists and turns all around. Something to keep ya interested for a while.
