ok, so yeah two months later i'm still playing it.

great game, even better sneaking system. MGS and Splinter Cell could learn alot from the thief and assassin missions in Oblivion.

sorry for doubting ya'll

It's a great game. Not much more to say than that.

I lost interest in it after a couple of weeks :(

understandable.

Out of curiousity Neil, did you follow the main quest at all?

I basicly have abondoned it right from the start and have just adventured on my own. this mre than anything else entertained me long enough to get hooked on the game.

well that and the sneaking system.

Not really... Did lots of side quests and closed 3-4 gates...

gotcha.

i ran around a bit and eventually started the guild missions. i still haven't bothered with the main quest of the gates.

ive done it all , all quests, champion of cyrodil and all that with all the achievements but sadly once you finish it it has little to no replay value, as opposed to games like dead rising and kameo which is mutch mroe fun to play through again.

fair enough. i foresee some replay-abilty for me in that i can try different character classes and what not.

I'm with Neil on this one. I can still play Morrowind all day long, but I lost interest in Oblivion once I realized that the monsters were leveled and all I'd ever fight was the same thing... until I leveled up.

Started the main quest then gave it up in favor of going off on my own to build experience. The grass slowed down even my 2-gig RAM machine, so eventually I got tired of single digit frame rate and gave it up in favor of Morrowind.

Or Civ III or Civ IV or Hearts of Iron 2, or anything on XBox, or Aces High II...
