This guy must be high asking $1800 for the hook and another $1800 for the poster. Hell John Russo was selling an original poster at horrorfind for $400. Why in the hell would anyone pay $1800 for this?

Original props from the film are nearly impossible to find. As for the original Russo was selling it was probably a one sheet 27x41 which at $400 is what they sell for depending on which NSS variation it was. The pole poster is a different poster than the original one sheet in size (smaller) and with the Image 10 name plus made in much lesser quantities as distribution was extremely limited - making it the rarest of the original theatrical posters for Night of the living Dead. As a bonus it has a interesting ownership history as well - being owned by Bill Hinzman previously, who saved it during the original theatrical release of NOTLD in Pittsburgh. It simply isn't a NOTLD poster you will find being offered for sale very often - In fact, this is the first original NOTLD pole poster ever offered in an auction.
