Is there any way to still buy a full version of Doom?

Well... I searched the idsoftware site and I couldn't find any way of getting a full, registered version. I thought I had one, but upon using the classic happy guns and ammo cheat to mess around I found I didn't have the plasma rifle or the BFG 9000...

So is there any way you can still buy that outside of Xbox live?

for PC you should be able to score one on ebay or at any larger software store.

Otheriwse, any torrent site out there should have a full rip for you.

You mean like the original Doom?

Well you could buy the Collector's Edition, it has Doom, Doom II and Final Doom all on one disc. I bought it a few days ago actually, it's good.

I have all old Doom versions bought. Ultimate Doom, Doom 2 and Final Doom. But I try not to use the CDs, as I kinda value them. So I downloaded this fine ass torrent that had all three Doom Wads and some cool doom music. Ooooh yeah!

i beleive there used to be a shareware program out which was called Z-Doom or something like that, that was the original doom modified.. it allowed multiplayer, mouse-aim.. stuff like that.
