Just found out about Creepshow 3 (why am I always the last to know these things?) and I'm not impressed one little bit. The movie poster indicates a budget of about $5! Again, this is another attempt by a no-mark to rape GAR of his ideas (I bow to you too, Mr King) and originality. When is all this madness gonna end?

Capn, this is terribly old news...my apologies that you just recently discovered it...
This film is being released by those infamous characters who brought us such greats as DAY OF THE DEAD2:Contagium (eeewwww, I hate writing that phrase) Taurus entertainment...and though I've heard a couple of things pointing in a positive direction about this venture...I think I'll pass on it out of sheer principle.

I never saw "Creepshow 2". Is it worth a viewing?

I would say a big ol' yes to that. It's not as good as the original but definitely worth a viewing or two. Michael Gornick is the director and Tom Savini has a cameo so it 'aint all bad. The final story is a cracker!

Yeah, while Creepshow 2 isn't as good as #1, it's still worth a viewing. The hitch-hiker tale is pretty kick ass. The DVD has a cool "making of" on it as well, sounds like it was a pretty trying production...

Creepshow 3 - BOOOOOOO (there's also a remake of Creepshow 1 by the same retards who abused GAR's work with Contagium in the works apparently).

The sooner this remake craze is over and this new 3-D technology gets in the better, I'd rather see 3-D versions of films than an endless, unimaginative line of sewage-like remakes (bar the odd one which is actually quite good - e.g. Hills Have Eyes 2006).

...why?, can they honestly think after contagium that they can imrpove on the origional writers and directors works?, i would personally love to be in the same room of these guys when one used the word "ro-shambo!".:elol:

Exactly, that's why I'm not dismissing NOTLD3D. On the 'mainstream' remake front, I'm sick and f**king tired of it! I wonder how all this will look to a film historian who has to write about this s**t in the future? Not good, let me tell you. Some of the remakes have been okay; Hills, Texas, Dawn (as a standalone movie Dawn 04 would've been passable, as long as Dawn 78 wasn't tagged to it!) but some have been downright poor, The Fog being the chief candidate. I want an end to this, the sooner the better!

Creepshow 3 is from those mofos at Taurus who are systematically cashing in on/raping the good work of Romero for their own pathetic means.

Creepshow 3 has f*ck all to do with the originals nor the original crew. There's also a Creepshow remake in the works apparently, again by those Taurus wankers, so that's gonna be a huge dick blister in itself.

And the kicker...
Romero said in that video interview that he would love to do another Creepshow with King and it's a shame whoever owns the name is selling it out so cheaply.

New Creepshow site I found:

The first one rules, the second has it's moments, but is overall a bit naff ... but it'd stomp the balls of 3 with ease, and the gheay remake coming up.

lol, ahhh the black goo in the lake...

What always confuses me is the odd 'sort of sex scene' in it...so you're lying on a raft in a lake surrounded by killer goo and two of your friends are dead, so the dude rolls his tongue all over the chick's body while she's sleeping...that's pretty f*cked up...as well as really bizarre, because surely you've got other things on your mind! :stunned:

Well, the guys technically raping his mates missus.

For some reason I always saw it as a dream-type sequence even though the film presents it as reality. Classic ending to that story btw.

I liked the first story with George Kennedy and that guy from Fight Club about the Old Indian Chief. Corny as hell but it's proper entertainment! :D

THANKS FOR THE RIDE, LADY!

That was my favourite of the three in the flick, that wobbly, bloody head with no discernible features jiggling at the car door, hahaha, classic.

I watched it yesterday on youtube. It had some funny moments, but doesn't have **** on the 2 true Creepshows. Some decent gore on some stories. They all innertwine, btw. Kind of like Pulp Fiction. I think people would give this movie more of a chance if it was called something else besides Creepshow 3, because it is not that.

Creep 1 is my fav. Pure fun, filled with devilish exuberance, and a great score. 2 seemed very tired in comparison.

#1 was awesome.

#2 had moments, but was generally lower budget and it did drag. 5 stories was great, it kept things moving, whereas only 3 made it drag a bit. There wasn't enough action either, a lot of talk, or a lot of tame action with a few splashes of the good stuff. Certainly disappointing, but I like the story behind its creation, it felt more like a bunch of guys having a laugh (even if it was trying at times) and just out there making a movie, which I like.

#3, which isn't even #3 anyway, can suck the sh*t out of various arses.

Is that someone Richard Rubenstein? It would make sense, for he is but a maggot feeding off of Romero's talent and has been for years. Although I do not know the exact reason why Romero and Rubenstein are on the outs, I would venture to guess it is because of Rubenstein's maggotyness, even though that is probabaly not a real word but applies to Rubenstein so I will take license here.
