Wii SD Memory Cards.

I was under the impression that any SD memory card would work for the Wii, but now I am seeing cards that are specifically for the Wii. Does anybody know wether the Wii specific cards will need to be used or can any SD memory card work? I have asked other people, but nobody seems to know.

i'm pretty sure sure any card from your cube works in a wii.

Yeah, your right, the Gamecube memory cards work for the Gamecube games, but the SD Memory cards are to expand the memory for the Wii. It has 512mb internal memory for games saves and a few downloads, but in order to download more you need to use SD memory cards to expand it. Basically, I was wondering if you can use any SD memory card or do you have to use the cards labeled as Wii SD memory cards.
