I don't know if any one has read any of his work but he was a great fantasy writer and sadly passed away two weeks ago (only just found out because I don't have the same web access that I used to).
He was only 57 and figured we be seeing many more novels published by him over the years. Saldy not, however, his wife will be finishing the final book of the Troy series and that will be it... no more Druss or the Drenai...
I'm currently reading the second of the Troy books which was only published a few weeks ago.
