Freelance writer/filmmaker, currently scratching around making fudge all and livin' off the 'rents. Hopefully though - struggle first, then come the riches and success and the big breaks. 2006 has been quite a good year thus far, and while on one hand has been moving slowly advancement wise, it has on the other hand suddenly all started to happen - bit of both I guess.

The ultimate goal - become a writer/director.

At the moment though, the odd job here and there (in my field, I don't mean like till work or moving things, hehe) and some freelance writing.

Umm, ditto. It's actually how Dj and I met - he came to work at my company temporarily, and it was all downhill from there.

Yeah, I screw off most of the day and get paid to do it. Life is good sometimes. I know it won't last forever, but i'm eating it up while I can.

Computer operator/Network Administrator. Like DJ & LC I pretty much get to screw around most of the day, every day :). Sometimes I'm busy but most of the time I just make myself LOOK busy. You take it like that when you can because it's not always gonna be like that .

I forgot to mention that i'm also a full-time nutcase, and as much fun as the job is, it doesn't pay very well.

It does, however, come complete with padded rooms, white jackets that buckle in the back, 3 meals a day, and a cornucopia of free drugs provided by my health care package.

Not too shabby if you think about it.

Past, Present & Hopefully Future:

If I start from High School, I worked in a couple fastfood joints, one for only a month until I flipped my car, then later a factory for a week making bullet-proof panels for Humvees. (It involved sticky fiberglas and ovens, hotting than hell!) Then a car parts factory in their computer lab watching a quad-screen to make sure the factory robots job tasks came back with a good condition code of double zero, change tapes in the 'vault' that always freaked me out because if there was a fire, supposedly the door would seal and this gas would fill to extinguish it. If a human was caught in it, you were pretty much dead, but you had plenty of time to get out, then print out hard-copy reports for the lazy @$$es out on the floor who wanted a hard copy in hand even though they could pull it up on their computer terminals.

Later, nightstock grocery, drug-gm (non-food), frozen and now running 'Nature's Market', which is a huge @$$ organic section in the produce. (It is suppose to become its own department and then I can get a freaking raise to department head pay.)

Formally, reserve deputy sheriff and also hospital police officer.

Now and hopefully future full-time job of writing books, directing movies, illustrating, etc.

College bound tech school interest in maybe a year or so: Computer systems, admin, networking, etc. or film production.

Funny how a lot here have computer networking, etc as their occupation. Does it really suck? I thought it would be pretty good and pay well. I make just over $13 a hour in a grocery store. What does a computer admin make? It should be more than this!

I work a container board plant (paper mill producing the paper used to make the materials used to make carboard boxes) - Weyerhaeuser (I've been there for three years and I still can't spell it). Anyway, they ask me do stuff that I could have finished in like a month or two but I stretch it out over a year. I work there two days a week and every day weekday I have off from school. It pays my fuel expense. I'm really just living off my parents but they stopped putting gas in my vehicle. I'm in Computer Information Systems. Hopefully I'll worm my way into a local position so I don't have to move. Yeah, I screw around alot.

I've been doing it for close to nine years with a break inbetween. Experience pay is a nice thing... so is unions. :D

If the organic section becomes its own department, I'll probably become a department head and make over $15 a hour.

All kidding aside from my last post on here. I just graduated college with a B.S. in CJ and an English minor. I'm hunting the job scene at the moment. I have so many options I don't know where to jump. I am looking at law school, federal agent, and oil companies.

Then you can chase people down alley ways screaming "FREEZE! Federal Agent!" and meet with informants in dark and spooky multi-storey car parks ... or maybe I've just been watching too much X-Files...

well, my last job was at a beer warehouse where I did a lot of small work and stacked kegs with a forklift. Since then I've been in school working for a B.A. in Political Science and a teaching degree. Unemployed at the moment but I'm working to correct that as quick as I can. I'm just glad my parents have been kind enough to pay my rent for the time being. I kind of miss my warehouse though, I didn't have to spend money on beer.

You know what your REPORT means... Jack and sh1T and jack left town.

You lost alot of credibility here when you went into a thread for my film, voted on every poll choice in regards to the film.

I had polled anyone who had seen the film, and asked what do you think I could improve on I listed four topics and you voted all of them out of spite. You got your vote taken away for that too. Since you like to be a prick, and bait everyone then when they do it to you ... you cry like a little bitch and run off to tell the mods

"they're picking on me" You brought it on yourself. be a man and take it. You started it, live with it. Also, have you read the FAQ. Abuse of the report system gets you in deeper sh1t than someone baiting you. Whats the matter you can act like a big boy, but can't take it like a big boy?

You're pathetic...

Oh, Go ahead and report this... I will do it too just to help your feeble and useless cause. :moon:
