allright so im working on a 28 days style zombie flick called reaction, the scripts done, i got the cast but im having trouble with one seen since its in a storm, because im in egland so i have no trouble waiting for rain, but what kind of light scource do you guys think i could use for lighting, like a dark alley being suddenyl BAM! lit up for just a second then black again, i was thinking a coloured bulb you get from hardware stores for like 2 quid like very pale blue but i still dont think it'll look right, any one got any ideas that can help me out with this.

theres some cheap effects here but there that kind of explosion thats 8 bit that you see in most low budget action films, still would be good if you ever wanted to do a spoof.

y'know this thread really should be just for tips for indie film makers in general really, so people can share there techniques and info.

it tells you how to make cheap squib blood packs for bullet wounds, though im sure it would be better to use cheap baloons than condoms or you fmaily would give you funny looks for taping blood filled condoms to people:lol:

this is an excellent way to make a low budget dolly, and you could probably combine this with the "how to make a crane doly" bit on the undead dvd.
