How do i use the ignore feature in chat.

when you click on a name a menu giving you the option to ignore comes up and asks you to type in a text. is there something i am supposed to type? and does the feature actually work

I am pretty sure this is covered in the FAQ.

Go to the FAQ and use "ignore" as your search word, it should explain HOW to use the ignore function in there.

i looked and all i found is ignoring someone as far as the threads are concerned, but nothing about the chat *sigh*

So far as i am aware, i have always been a (super?) mod here, and on the previous forums.

In regards to ignoring people in chat, i can not help you with that. The chat does not work for me since recently installing a new hard drive :(

Try a PM to Andy or neil to ask IF it is even possible to ignore people in chat?
