Rumors so far but it looks like its being worked on....
Its owned by Microsoft...so if Goldeneye comes does that mean maybe the Original Perfect Dark on the virtual COnsole that would be AWSOME....
Makes the Wii60 more of a reality...
Heres a blurb
Unfortunately, the aforementioned "rights issues" are a bit of a sticky wicket. Since Activision now owns the James Bond license, presumably it would be the company Nintendo is talking to. However, as of press time, reps for the publisher had not responded to requests for comment.
Nintendo reps also hadn't replied to queries on the matter as of press time. Nor has Microsoft, which bought Rare in 2002, clarified whether or not the studio has any say on whether GoldenEye 007 comes to the Wii. All a rep would say is, "We're working on an answer for you...Stay tuned!"

Sounds pretty cool. It would be even better if they could keep the same style of the Goldeneye game but instead make it "Casino Royale". FPS action and then some poker.....could be cool.:)

Perfect Dark with a improved framerate, i'd take that over Goldeneye any day of the week.

Same here.... but I think Perfect Dark is slightly less likely than Goldeneye...

Goldeneye is well known and generally credited as the best console FPS game ever. perfect dark has no chance.

Yeah but its funny...Perfect Dark is literally the exact same game....
Even the multiplayer you get to play the same maps....
Perfect Dark was everything Goldeneye was but more....more guns...more characters in multiplayer...more gagdets...better graphics...more multiplayer maps...more multiplayer modes....more everything...its just less likely to come to the virtual console because Microsoft might want to keep it from Nintendo using it...

Wasn't all that fond of Goldeneye or Perfect Dark to be honest. The pair of them pale next to the likes of Half Life, Deus Ex and Halo.

I dunno its just a different game to me....Ive played both Halo1/2 and Half Life/Counter Strike a lot I still play em occasionally.... but I think Goldeneye/Perfect Dark is waaaaay more fun...would be awsome to get online battles with Perfect Dark...*sigh*...I guess on PC emulation maybe

Oh man this would RULE! I remember spending whole days just sitting at a friends house playing multiplayer Goldeneye. We had never experienced anything like it before. I'd love to see this on Wii's virtual console along with online multiplayer!
Hmmm... I wish Wii's were easy to obtain. I want one.

speaking of ,looking at the numbers in terrans sig i think its safe to say whos lost the console war, thing is i dont think there is competition between the 360 and the wii since all the people with 360's seem to be after a wii as well.
