This computer I'm on refuses to bring it up for some strange reason - but go to www.adam-buxton.co.uk (Brit folk, it's Adam of Adam & Joe) and scroll down until you come across a video called "Denny Digit", it's absolutely hilarious. :D
(okay, got off my lazy ass and found it - you'll have to have a YouTube account to view it on YouTube, but not if you go to Buxton's site to view it)
In case you haven't figured it out by that statement, it's Not Safe For Work. :D (swearing abound!:))

big cat vs little dog
how do you embed youtube videos? doesnt seem to work when i try it. apologies for e-tardedness!
capncnut
08-Dec-2006, 05:30 AM
Okay Liam, I just tried to PM you the solution to imbedding but it's not having it for some reason. Right, here we go.
First of you take your URL. For example, the last one you sent was
http://youtube.com/watch?v=ePTFf6Zy0kQ
What you do next is remove everything up until the = so it should just be
ePTFf6Zy0kQ
Now you need to insert the source so on the left side of the code you put
youtube
and on the right side put
/youtube
but you have to enclose both source insertions with the usual [ ] thing. I cannot do it here otherwise it just imbeds one big blank screen. If you have any trouble just PM me dude. :)
MikePizzoff
08-Dec-2006, 05:30 AM
 That video was great... especially at the end when the dog walks on his hinde legs and looks like a cat.
To embed YouTube videos you just need to put
{YouTube} then the stuff that comes after the "v=" then {/YouTube}
Of course replace { with [ and } with ]

cheers for the help capn & mike, and now,i present, subversive, cancelled kids show "dick and dom in da bungalow". couple of the things i love about this show are the contempt for the guests, the adult jokes that go over the kid's heads, and the fact that the presenters are obvously stoned the whole time
the last one is basically a guy in drag encouraging kids to sing a song about how policemen are only policemen because theyre too stupid to do anything else...this was 9am saturday morning tv folks, i actually started getting up in the morning

They're scratching the stump of that cat's tail. Some cats will go nuts if you scratch them there. If you look closely at the moment that cat starts going crazy you'll see the owner's hand. Good find. *L*

Ass end, but you're not touching the ass. Its where the tail connects to the body. Above the tail on the cat's back. The best way to describe it is scratching a cat's back and working your way down towards where the tail starts. In no way are you touching the cat's asshole. I hope that clears it. *L*

MinionZombie
23-Dec-2006, 11:26 AM
That video is a classic indeed, I'm sure it's all cobbled together footage, but looking at it, most appears to be real dialogue as Jeffrey is saying stuff that matches the other dialogue ... it's obviously edited down, but blimey ... some of the stuff Jeffrey says there, pure, unbridled innuendo!

Both clips were from an especially silly comedy called Wet Hot American Summer with Janeane Garofalo and David Hyde Pierce. Unfortunately it was only released in the US and I had to track down a region 1 dvd online. Really, the story is one of a kind.
Here's a couple more from the film. :D

Yeah I know what you mean, I laughed at those stunts the first time, but beyond that I don't find them funny.
But generally I don't find including the unsuspecting public in jokes funny anyway, because you're just f*cking up their day...occasionally it can actually be funny like Trigger Happy, where it was more about the unsuspecting public witnessing a stunt (which was more of an insular act, among those "in the know") and the public would just watch it - like three man-sized squirrels having a brawl.

Pete n' Dud, now that's a double act. I didn't mind Vic & Bob once upon a time but they just flap out random humour and nonsensical quotes which is pretty much hit and miss with me. On Shooting Stars I remember they presented Larry Hagman with a Fartridge, "it's part partridge and part fart, therefore it's a Fartridge"... not funny in the slightest. I guess they are a Marmite act, either you like 'em or you don't.

Or just hit youtube and type in 'Watching You' in the search window.
It a parody of surveilance of us in this world by so-called concerned watchful eyes...Hope you enjoy. Its not really funny, unless you are oblivious to the actions taken by our continuously intrusive government.
The other one is just a mushy sentimental family vid about my new family...
'Never Say Goodbye' is one of the tunes by my band Blindfold.
BTW, most of our music is nasty arse-kicking rock....'Goodbye' is an exception.
As you get older, the music you write changes, if you grow as a musician.
If you have any doubt that Blindfold can kick ass, ask Captknut, he was gracious enough to review a disc I sent him a few months ago.

Watched 'em both. While there's subtle tones of humour in the first, it's the Never Say Goodbye video that makes me laugh the most. Pure goofy snapshots... bro, your f**kin' music heals me, faith-affirming s**t man.

I've been watching Edgar Wright's myspace page as he talks about being here in the states promoting "Hot Fuzz" and their cake flushing sessions. Sounds stupid as hell, I know, but this third one had me laughing my ass off.
Warning: You may get a contact high.

again, that was shown to us in film class, and yesterday we watched borkeback mountain, so we see more than the usual action movies crap youd expect.
-and it IS more a romance film with two guys than a "gay cowboy" movie, it was allright but ill be damned if it didnt drag on much longer than it should.

Geez, that's a 95% popular film list right there, the sort of stuff most folk have heard of, or would likely enjoy, with the odd deeper one thrown in here and there.
It wasn't like that on my course, we saw the odd well-known movie, but it depended on which particular course you took. I did a Lucas/Spielberg course, so it was those sort of films, which everybody knows, but the sort of stuff we had to talk about was bollocks, the lecturer was a nobhead obsessed with reading porn and incest into anything when it's NOT THERE AT ALL.
We took the piss and said that "Duel" was a rape-revenge movie because the big, dirty truck anally rapes the little car on the road ... he f*cking fell for it and loved it, we couldn't believe it, we were just talking utter bollocks.
Other courses vary from one type of film to another.
Not many pre-1960 films on that list, b'ave ... how do you manage to rake through so many flicks, when do you ever have time to discuss them? haha...
Well I'll say this, film studies in the Sixth Form/College is a lot different to film studies at Uni.
I remember the film & video course at my high school, I didn't take it and I'm glad I didn't, everybody got sh*t grades and just ran around with a video camera in that "haha, how cool is this, I'm having fun at school, touch my erection, feel how chuffed I am" kinda way...but it was all that "dude in a white box" type melodrama and faux-poncy-arse stuff...rather pointless, really. It wasn't properly taught though, nor did it have a proper syllabus...
*flashback*
hehe, just had a fond memory of my time at uni...I remember the Wednesday morning 10am 1 hour lectures weren't very popular, and Charles Barr (who used to be one of the ones at the top/running the over all course - he's now retired - people might recognise his name from various books on Hitchcock, he's mad for the Alfred) ... anyway, he said he was gonna start a register thingy and the rule of thumb was you could miss 3 lectures/seminars on each course no questions asked, beyond that was really pushing it at 4, beyond that was a naughty-no-no ... I'd always save my 3 for weeks that were gonna be reeeeaaaaaally boring or I had no interest in, or when it was the end and I was really lazy and had done all the necessary work...anyway, sh*t I still haven't gotten to the point - anyway, I'd already had my 3 NQA misses, and I woke up at like 9:40am with that wide-eyed, cold sweat panic - SHIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!! I'd slept in! I spent that 20 minutes desperately trying to get ready and dressed and get my bag packed and then get to uni, which was a good mile away or more...I got there a few minutes late, came blasting in sweating with my hair all in a state, and sat down just as the register was being handed over to where I was, hahaha!
And it was really weird cos there was a dude there with a camera filming it for TV or something...never found out the story on that, but there must have been some red-faced, panting student somewhere in the background wiping sweat from his face, haha! :D
Oh, and the Jackson film you're on about is "Meet the Feebles".
