I was reading this in a magazine and thought it was quite interesting, if not a little scary.. all the below are true and all coincidences.

Abraham Lincoln was elected to the US congression in 1846.
John F Kennedy was elected to the US congression in 1946.

Abraham Lincoln was elected president in 1861.
John F Kennedy was elected president in 1961.

Lincoln and Kennedy both contain 7 letters.

Lincoln and Kennedy where both particullarly concerned with the civil rights issue.

Both Lincoln and Kennedy's wives lost a child while living in the white house.

Lincoln and Kennedy where both shot on a friday.

Lincoln and Kennedy where both shot in the back of the head.

Lincoln's secrety was called Kennedy.
Kennedy's secrety was called Lincoln.

Both Lincoln and Kennedy where shot by southerners.

Both Lincoln and Kennedy where succeded by southerners.

Lincoln was succeded by Andrew Johnson.
Kennedy was succeded by Lyndon Johnson.

Andrew Johnson was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson was born in 1908.

Andrew Johnson was president until 1869.
Lyndon Johnson was president until 1969.

John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.

Both Booth and Oswald are known by their full 3 names.

Both names, John Wilkes Booth and Lee Harvey Oswald, comprise of 15 letters.

Booth killed Lincoln in a theatre and was apprehanded in a warehouse.
Oswald killed Kennedy in a warehouse and was apprehanded in a theatre.

Both Booth and Oswald were assasinated before their trial.

No conspiracy theories here, but i think that is kind of spooky, the number of coincidences and all.. whats you guys thoughts?

Yeah, but then again, who says Lee Harvey Oswald killed Kennedy?

i don't mean to be picky or anything but Lincoln was elected in 1860 and Kennedy in 1960. They were innaugurated in 1861 and 1961 respectively. like i said i'm not trying to be annoying but it was just a little detail i couldn't let go.

Co-incidences. Granted a HUGE set of 'em but I think it's all just co-incidence nonetheless. And yeah, Lee Harvey Oswald never killed Kennedy.

Oswald killed Kennedy in a warehouse

One thing's for sure; I'd hate to be elected president in 2061.

Yea, that's crazy. That's a whole lot of coincidences, it really makes you wonder if they are just coincidences...

THose are definately just coincidences, but something that is not a coincidence is that both Lincoln and Kennedy were killed for the same reason, and by the same group of "like minded men", even though they were 100 years apart. That would be a long discussion, but suffice it to say, neither was killed by a "lone nut". Whether Booth or Oswald actually "plugged the trigger" or not is irrelevant. They were both killed for a specific reason, and both were killed for the same specific reason.
