Ford was truly a decent man

his pardoning of nixon cost him the election
but now it is regarded as the wisest thing anyone could have done

he was the only one who could have put a stop to the mess
that watergate had caused this country
and he had the courage to do it

his administration has been the only one that has been scandal free
since nixon

all other presidents have had scandals resulting in
congressional investigations and even special prosecuters

that says a lot about this very under rated man


he never wanted to be president
but when called upon
he served the office with a respect
that has not been followed since
