Contrary to the norm, these people are not taking the typical llama approach of trying to reap some unfair compensation! Well! There are some normal people round!

So... somehow a porn got pressed with the Madden stuff on it instead of a porn label? Or did the kid open the case and fail to see that the disc read "Star Whores: The Phantom Anus" intead of "Madden 07" and proceed to watch it before feeling guilty?

50 quid for a porno? I'd sue.
Kolton Mahoney was shocked when he put the Madden NFL 07 game in his new Xbox 360 console Christmas day and an explicit image popped up on his television screen. Kolton turned off the Xbox and notified his parents, Linda and Tim Mahoney, who viewed the video game and were equally stunned. "It wasn't a pretty scene," Tim Mahoney said.
Yeah right! :lol:

How on earth did porn end up on this game...I'm looking forward to seeing what the results of the investigation that is currently pending are. A part of me thinks the kid just got found out for having a porn stash and he hastily blamed it on Madden ... or it's one of those situations where the disc is half of one thing and half of the other (it's happened before, weirdly).

Guessing an employee somewhere in the supply chain thought it would be funny to burn pr0n onto a blank Madden 07 DVD disk. Assuming it was an original disk and not a copy, it would have to be fairly early in the process. Perhaps the factory where the XBOX 360 DVD's are burned and packaged for retail use.

could be any number of things, but i'd like to believe it was someone at the factory having a laugh...

I worked at a lamp factory about 20years ago. My job was to seal up the packages with shrink plastic. It was boring as hell so every so often I would add a hand drawn "bonus" into the package such as;
A drawing of Fred Flintstone with a gestapo uniform and a riding crop giving it to Barney rubble up the pooper
Wylie Coyote servicing Roadrunner.
Popeye smoking a fat bomber getting some %^&# from Olive Oyl.
So I can see easily how it could happen:D
You buy some stupid lamp and also get an "object D'Art"!:p

When I was in my early 20's I used to (then illegally) manufacture porn tapes for a Dutch firm. Again, another boring job so every once in a while I'd spice it up by sending off the odd copy of Watership Down and 101 Dalmations. Never got any returns funnily enough. :lol:

lol...patrons of a shady dutch porno firm...you were probably supplying them with stuff that wasn't a million miles away from what they requested ;)

yeah, there's a tv show over here called "the real hustle" where people con the general public, and then run after them afterwards and tell them it was all a joke.
they did this one where they turned up at peoples doors saying they had a Wii for them, but due to a credit card mixup they hadnt been charged and had to pay cash on the spot. and they did, only to find out it was a breeze block in a wii box. chumps!

You cant hustle a truly honest man. Greed and wanting something for nothing gets you screwed.
