Here's the lowdown.
Australian actress Nicole Kidman was taken to a Los Angeles hospital for examination after a stunt car she was riding in crashed early Thursday during the shooting of her latest film "The Invasion," police said.
The incident occurred in the 300 block of West 6th Street when a vehicle surrounded by cameras spun out of control after it hit a light pole, said LAPD Lt. Paul Vernon.
Los Angeles police said eight people, including Kidman, stuntmen and cameramen, suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospitals for examination and were released.
The 39-year-old Oscar-winning actress is starring as a psychiatrist in the science fiction film "The Invasion." During the scene, she was trying to escape zombie-like characters on the hood of the Jaguar when the crash occurred, Kidman's publicist, Catherine Olim said.
The Los Angeles Police Department will likely conduct a routine traffic accident investigation into the crash.
Warner Bros., a unit of Time Warner Inc., also said production continued after the crash and Kidman was expected back on the set Thursday.
Interesting. :sneaky:
