That there always seems to be a bunch of members joining but none of them ever post or anything?

Yes, I was reading the member list, and there are a lot of member that never posted, or they posted a lot of time... Which are their happens?, Why they do this?.

some might be what people call "lurkers". people who just read forums, but don't post.

they are joining for the fiction section.

The fiction section's a separate registration, it's a totally different forum...
