Simply ... cannot ... wait.

I've been buzzing about this film ever since I heard them first mention it was their next film, I've been following it online (what with the vlogs and such) for quite a while now and likewise saw the adverts recently. I can't wait to see it.

Now, to be honest, I am NOT a fan of Shaun Of The Dead whatsoever. I thought it was crap, dumb and unfunny (and I have only just found out that I am not alone in this view). Hot Fuzz, on the other hand, actually looks pretty good. I caught a couple of trailers at the theater and on tv and, I gotta admit, I was rather impressed. I might change my mind about these guys and go to see it, although my chinese dvd purveyor has recently acquired this so I might see her instead.

The only line in Shaun that I found remotely funny was "...Cornetto." :D

HOW COULD YOU NOT LIKE SHAUN OF THE DEAD?

That's Blasphemous. :(

Bored the crap out of me DJ. It wasn't helped by the fact that a week earlier I witnessed that stinking pile of horse crap that is Yawn 04 at the theater. It was like a double kick up the nuts. You know what, I think I'd rather watch Craptagium than the pair of those. Truth. At least Craptagium doesn't try to conceal the fact that it's an unadulterated pile of crap.

Wow, six craps!!!

Now let's watch The Muppets reform. :sneaky:

oh come on, shaun was good, if your a fan of stuff like spaced you'll like it, i was a fan of spaced and the living dead films, no duh, so i was psyched about it before i saw it.

as for hot fuzz, im poor as hell but ive kept a tenner in my wallet for the last 2 months for this, and for me thats an achievement. it looks damn funny, and i love the newer trailers with yet more "cornetto" jokes:lol:

Spaced > Shaun. Not that Shaun isn't great, it just didn't measure up to Spaced in any capacity.

With that said, I am looking forward to this coming out in the states in April.

Shaun of the Dead was crap. The first romantic comedy zombie movie was My Boyfriend's back. I like Ed though. Shaun was just a dolt.

Yeah, I'm liking it. Strange seeing as though my opinions of Shaun are so low.

come on man, give shaun a re-watch and give it a chance, ignore your dawn 04' experience, its a good movie.

"...cornetto", a truly epic line.

Bruv, I promise you I've watched it numerous times. I've force fed it on myself because I thought there was something wrong with me for not liking it. At the end of the day it's like eating a whole jar of strong jalapenos - it just dont settle right.

Supposedly, the final trailer was released today. You can find it HERE (http://www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=20349). It sports some music created by Robert Rodriguez, which is pretty cool.

These next few months are going to be a funny time at the cinema with "Hot Fuzz" and "Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters".:D

i saw it yesterday, and im gonna sit on it for a while but im allready pretty sure this is way,way better than shaun of the dead, its got everything ,comedy, action, more gore than shaun and more movie references than you would think they could put it.
the story is pretty damn predictable but the script is so good it doesnt matter pegg and frosts characters are nothing like shaun and ed but they still go together really well and whilst i didnt laugh too much myself most of the audience was full on roaring with luaghter throughout, wont give owt away but this is one of the best films i have seen in a good long while and you gotta check it out!
