Now if any of you have worse teeth than mine and want to cheer me up with your horrid stories please do.

i have had something lodged in my gum for 2 weeks and it was getting to really bother me. Well I called in work not giving a **** about work and found an emergancy dentist. Turns out I had a corn kernal imbedded in my gum. It was damn hard and deep for a stupid pop corn kernal. I never heard of such a thing. Well it turns out that the work i need to be done elswhere will be 1000$ i estimate out of pocket. I have permanent implants that need replaced. That is 500$ RIGHT THERE. not to mention needing a few molars pulled. God days like today make me really hate life. I have no way to come up with that cash.

i can cheer you up, since they told me my teeth will cost about $2500 to fix. right now i only have two mollars on the top and missing three on the bottom not to mention the two i need pulled that have been chiped right down to the gums (getting them pulled is conciderd dentall surgury and not figured into the $2500.)

If you dont have coverage you should just die to leave the world for all the monied people becasue they are are obviously superior due to divine providence and obvious merit . I would say survival of the fittest, but that would imply that evolution exists.

sreiously, HLS, I am sorry to hear that. Truly suckorific.

Watch it, or we'll invade in the form of 50's sci-fi films.

What did you think War of the Worlds was really about? Aliens? Hah!

Death to freedom! (I should make that my new sig)

Hehe, yeah I know. :p

Anyway, HLS, are there insurances for that kind of stuff? Dental insurances should cover it... or?

Dude, you gotta have it to get covered. general Insurance is at least 250 a month. Usually more. Add Dental and your breaking the bank. Often when you get coverage at work they leave out dental.

Yeah cause generally dental is considered "cosmetic"

I've been to the dentist 3 or 4 times in like 34 years. Never had any trouble with my teeth, quite lucky really.
