I've recently found myself listening to more and more classical music and I've heard some brilliant pieces. However, I'm also a metal fan and I really want to know if there are any bands that mix Classical Music with Metal.

If there are any, can you kind people recommend anyone?

I'm sure there are one or two. The only classical metal I ever listened to though is the Metallica/Kamen concert and Kiss with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.

other than that, black metal bands like dimmu borgir and later cradle of filth use orchestral stuff. there's a scandinavian thrash band called darkane who use a lot of orchestral stuff too.
but yeah, like capn said, the S&m album by metallica is worth checking out
