That's creepy for the obvious reason, but it's also really creepy to me because that ball of fluff has it's eyes wide open and staring at me, ever since seeing some random Hammer Horror film when I was a kid on Halloween (where a guy falls and dies at the foot of the stairs and there's a close up of his wide, staring eyes), I've been really freaked out by wide staring eyes ... there's something disturbing about that look...it creeps me out big style.

on that note, since this thread doesnt actually have a topic, i saw on tv a week ago, a family staged an intervention on a son who they said "was addicted to videogames and tearing the family apart" and this wasnt a warcraft addict, he played less than me, his mom literally wept while reminicsing about how he wouldnt drive her to the store and played final fantasy 10 instead:rolleyes:

Ugh, my mother is like that. It's a nightmare! Luckily I'm pretty much out of it now... I imagine my little bro is counting the days until he can leave home (he plays video games, and gets mostly B's and C's on his school work. My mother takes this as a sign that he's going to fail in life... or something :rolleyes: )

Depends on the parents, but I see what you mean. My mom let me do anything I wanted as long as she didnt have to bail me out of jail and I got at least B's.

My folks don't really "get" videogames, but they've no problem with them at all (they used to buy stuff like Carmageddon: Uncut and Duke Nukem 3D for me when I was like 13).

I played a lot of videogames, but not to the point where it was all I did, it was just a past-time, taking over from time I'd otherwise spend flicking through TV channels.

It's all about finding a balance, and 99.9% of gamers have that balance, it's the mass publicised (by the finger wagging lunatics like Jack Thompson) nobs who spoil it for everyone.
