Here's a little something from GamesTM magazine:
If you hadn't guessed from it's catchy title, Silent Hill: The Arcade is of course, an arcade game set in the world of Silent Hill.
Although transposing the subtle psychological horror of the Playstation title into an arcade-only lightgun shooter doesn't quite fell appropriate to the subject matter, there's no reason to believe that this can't be handled intelligently.
The first batch of screenshots at least show that trademark grainy look has been kept rather than falling into the trap of using glossy HD visuals for the sake of it. And if Konami can keep the ammo reservoir low and make good use of the sound effects and cabinet design to up the tension, Silent Hill: The Arcade could be just as horrifying as it's predecessors.
