What is parkour? Is it that "free running" thing or whatever it's called?

Bassman, I put up the exact same video a few months ago and it got removed. Yet again, I did post it in the funny video thread.

Did you see "Casino Royale"? I can't remember the guy's name, but the black fella at the beginning of the movie is one of those free runners and the sh*t he does is quite impressive.

I'll be working with Parkour guys on my current show, including Sebastian. These guys are the real deal and it takes a lot of athleticism. It's impressive stuff and I'm looking forward to seeing it live.

Sometimes I'm shocked by hellsing's seemingly complete jar-o-jaded.

That Parkour stuff is friggin' impressive, some seriously serious sh*t. Hats off to them, if it involves committed athleticism and considerable danger ... then it's an extreme sport. :sneaky:

Yeah but that had nothing to do with the kicking itself... I had a nice rewind (a few times actually :sneaky:) and the leg only snapped as he stood on it weird after the kick. He simply applied to much weight at a wrong angle, it could happen to anyone inside the ring and out. Happened once (on a much smaller scale of course) with my left knee when I was chasing someone.

Man, I bet that hurt something rotten.

Yeah totally healed now though and it was only a quick lookover in the hospital but if my steps had been a bit wider... not to mention heavier... oooh damn, I might have been in a bit of trouble. :D

I was gonna follow suit with all these sick vids and show a fantastic skateboarding crash where you see a guy's face hit the concrete and smash out all his teeth (followed by the inevitable slowdown).

But no, I thought I'd post an image thats 100 times worse than any accident or death vid you will ever see. Be warned though, you click on this (http://www.hawes16.freeserve.co.uk/IMAGES/3mouth.jpg) and I ain't taking the blame. Kapeesh?

Ghastly isn't it?

I knew I shouldn't have clicked

Those are horrible, each one made me cringe but that's stupidity for ya I guess. Some of those free runners are fantastic though, there have been adverts on over here with them on and they are very impressive but yeah one wrong foot and it could be goodnight for them.

I'm always tempted to click on things like that, but I resisted this time, I always regret it and would rather live in a world of flutterbys, puppies and kittens and zombies than go gawping at minging internet images. :barf:

Twat. :p:sneaky:

I just think people enjoying sitting there watching/looking at Rotten.com type sh*t are f*cked in the head...there's a world of difference between some skater knackering his leg and photos from the scene of some person's untimely and utterly hideous death (like one I saw back in the day of a guy who'd died in the bath when the heater fell in or something, and it cooked him for like 2 weeks, his arms were on the rim and when they pulled on them they just came away as the rest of the body was liquidated in all the goo in the bath. That sh*t stuck with me, it was f*cking rank and a sh*t way to go.

FOR CRYING OUT LOUD DON'T POST THAT SH*T HERE!!!:eek:

F*ck no, I ain't clicking sh*t if it's gonna be all gross and no teeth and stuff, I had plenty of visits to the orthodontist as a kid so that kinda stuff is extra-freak-me-out-able.
