This is just too great. I don't know if it's a joke or if these people are serious, but there is this online petition to get Nike to recreate Marty McFly's shoes from "Back to the Future: Part II" and make them available to the public.

Here's the site (http://www.mcfly2015.com/)

Being a huge fan of the "BTTF" trilogy......I would definitely buy these. And I'm willing to bet that most people around here would pick them up as well. Being that there are shoes out there for Paul Rubens(Pee Wee Herman), I don't see this being that far of a stretch. Obviously there wouldn't be power laces, though.:p

What is it with Nike and these movie shoes?

What is it with Nike and these movie shoes?

Desperate marketing techniques? A quick money-grab? Whatever it is, it's financially driven knowing Nike.

It would be cool to see, but I don't think I'd be caught wearing a pair out in public. :D

AH DUDE I'D LOVE A PAIR OF THOSE!!!

They blatantly should release those to the public! Power laces or not, they'd be awesome.

Nike McFly's, DEFINITELY!

Hey I'm a 70's and 80's child but there's no way you'd ever catch me in a pair of those. All the pretty girls would be giggling at me and I'd be surrounded by bespectacled sci fi losers saying "cool man, did you get the hoverboard too?" :D

Shoes may not be what gets someone a date, but I will say this: these shoes might be a quick way to ensure you never get one to begin with. :D

And hey, I was born in 1971, but consider myself an 80's child. I mean, what did I know from '71 until '80?

Actually, WTF do I even know now?

*BTTF high five*

DAMN STRAIGHT! Those trainers were sh*t-hot, kind of a futuristic "high top" set, I had a pair of high tops back in the day, loved them...these are a bit like that, but just REALLY FREAKIN' SWEET.

You can't go wrong with either Ghostbusters or BTTF wardrobe referencing...can't-go-wrong.

Jesus, i'm starting to feel really old around here... and MZ, you be quiet, you're still a fetus compared to me. :p :D

Ok, look, the shoes are "ok" I guess, but man, they've got to ditch the "half-way-up-your-calf" hightop portion of them. If it was just silver shoes, I could picture some people wearing them (we won't comment on their fashion style at the moment..), but c'mon, even Michael Jordon's hightops weren't that high! :D

Maybe someone was high when they desgined marty's shoes to begin with...

I don't think they particularly look good....but c'mon, they're Nikes from 2015 that Marty McFly Sr. and Jr. wear! I'd wear them just to say that I'm wearing it.
