I know that seagate HDs have had issues in the past with heat and noise. Anyone have any experience with their drives?

I dig Seagates, far better than Maxtor (stay away) and only a smidge better than Western Digital.

I've only heard of Barracudas ... good reputation.

Seagates are Phenomenal. I use them.
