I signed on the net about 40/50 minutes ago and all I've done is reply to posts and post myself...then reply to replies and reply to replies of replies...the site won't let me leave, it's like Evil Dead...but with more code and less 'cundah'.

Anyone else found themselves in this situation here? :rockbrow:

Exactly. Except I was busy taking back the champion role on Snake in the Arcade, which I finally did. :D

But I haven't been able to leave this place. In between the excellent look and flow of things courtesy of Neil and the damn addicting arcade by Andy, I'm not sure I'll ever leave.

Oh my god guys, I think I may have broken my MySpace addiction.

I checked out that arcade, looks pretty fun, will have to play around on there when I'm on my laptop...and then that'll be another thing to keep me staring at a monitor all day long! lol.

lol...I always wanted a little brother - not a little sh*t that annoyed the hell out of me, but a cool one that I got along with and could talk about guy stuff with and enjoy toilet humour with...as well as be a mentor/role model type deal.

I've got a wicked (as in cool) older sister, but never got the chance to be the elder, ah well. Hopefully when (or if) I have a kid they won't be a bastard and I can get them into zombie movies and HIM, :D.

brothers are never alike, im the eldest out of my family and my two uncles familys kids, so at all the family reunion style things im the wierd one that does papa lazarou impressions. but my brother is nothing like me im short-ish with black hiar hes tall and blonde, hes a chav and he actually owns a 50 cent c.d...

god damn its good to be the arty-wierdo sometimes.

lol, a Fiddy cd? Damn...

Yeh, being the arty one rocks. In my family I'm the one who's doing the 'crazy' career path. My sister is doing the more traditional business thing working for a big bank, jetting around the country all the time and whatnot - she loves all the free hotel rooms and room service meals, lol.

Me, I could never do that office 9 to 5 thing. I couldn't picture myself being anything other than being in "the arts" ... besides, at reunions I'll be able to tell cool and exciting stories to all the "I'm an insurance salesman with a house, a car and a mortgage" clones (trust me, I've got a friend who's done that very thing - looks like his SCIENCE degree is coming in handy, hehe).

What was I on about? Damn I get off topic sometimes...Transporter 2?! pfft...that chick is NOT fit *shudders*

man i know what you mean, well the last bit, i finished school two years ago with 3 grade 'c's and thought about just gettting into "work". big mistake of course no one would take me on so i spent the last year up till june skint, the last film ive seen in the cinema was the return of the king, lol.
but i allways wanted to be a film director but i come from a long, long line of mechanics and firefighters so as you can imagine i was told i was "livin' in a fairy world" and after that pointed it and laughed at,lol.

then i got my first job, i would be selling camping equipment at a place caled don amots a caravan park ,working with a bunch of 60 year olds, thats when i had an epiphany of sorts, it was one of those points were the rational, grown up voice youve ignored for so long dispenses some wisdom, i never whent in on the first day.
but i decided if you dont try you aint getting no were, so if you want a mansion and you own island ,just go for it, so i enrolled in college last september.

anyway ,and this is were ive been getting to, you just heard how i whent from a bum to a possible future more fullfilling than burger king employee 7773645 , well heres a point from the other end.

a freind of mine i met at school was a literal genuis ,he could have gone to oxford, he got A's in every subject, and what did he do?, he whent into the schools 6th form for a week then quit, now he wears a shirt and tie everyday (eww), working in the I.T department of a computer firm and thats were he says he wants to work till hes 40, now thats a serious waste of talent that guy could have done anything.

it just goes to show brains without ambition and dreams aint worth jack hes a genius and he works, then gos home then repeats it the next day.

im more quirky aritstic ,but not the brightest dude ever and lazy as hell, but ive travelled the country on road trips and stuff had great times, filmed a few indie flicks which were shown ni my home town.
all becuase i didnt want to settle into one more statistic.

its crazy to think how different your life could be.

you know i think it was dawn of the dead that made me decide to be a filmmaker, and i enrolled the day after watching it, cheers george!
