I'm an NTL subscriber and recently my TV has been taken over by Virgin (very much in nazi/big brother style) with red and black screens asking me for a number to access the channels? Are they taking the piss?
I don't know when Virgin became involved with this but it clearly aint working. It was all fine and dandy with Sky but now I've lost a good 20+ s**t channels and all the good ones have passwords now.
Another turd sandwich I gotta bite.

I'm with the same company and the only time that this has ever happened to me is when I've forgot to pay the bill.

We're Sky subscribers here, but aye it's Sky versus Virgin Media now, and as they had a big row (you should read anything by either corporation - especially Sky - relating to the dispute, it's the politest "f*ck you" I've ever read)...anyway, as a result, Sky channels have been removed from Virgin services (like Sky One), so people are pissed about that from what I've heard, fans of shows like 24 and Lost etc are now f*cked if they're on VM and don't know how to download.
Sky do need some competition though, they charge a bucketload and they keep upping the price so they can send you yet another retarded magazine or provide some service you don't even want anyway!

Actually, cancel my complaint 'cos the more I fiddle around with my Virgin, the more I'm impressed. Quite spoogeworthy actually. :D
I can stop and start programmes whenever I like or view them at a completely different time all at the touch of a button. The menu set up is quite sleek (like the black skin on LimeWire but without all that child pornography) and it's very easy to navigate, the whole thing seems faster in general and the internet is sweet as a nut. Top notch!

Seriously though, I'm not against Sky and I wouldn't rule out a change over but I'm just gonna give ol' Branson a chance and see what happens.

Anyway I was with Blueyonder Telewest and that got taken over by Virgin along with everything else it seems, I hope they do put up the fight they have promised but we will see.
The only thing that bugs me about the change is I keep getting a no programme info bit when I flick though the channels which is annoying cos I now have to actually look at the TV guide I buy every week :|
Also thinking about it sometimes I change channel and it's all black so I flick over to the next one then back and the picture appears :(

until virgin put 24 back on they can kiss my ass ( how can you stop a series half way through ?) .If anyone knows where i can download the rest of the series ( legally ) i'd be eternally grateful...:D :D :D

Download 24 legally? pfft, such a thing rarely exists, or use Google. :sneaky: (for those too lazy to scan through the rules, giving info on how to acquire torrents etc is a naughty-no-no, it's a VBB-wide ruling, not just HPOTD specific).
Virgin and Sky were supposed to be coming to some deal, but it went south, as a result Sky removed their channels from the Virgin service out of spite, and that means 24, Lost and so forth fans be f*cked...unless they download like normal people. :D

Somebody tape Bransons eyes shut tie him up and throw him in the sun face up.
WTF
Did his balloon crash on everest and he never blinked once or wore sunglasses?
Totally white eyelids while the rest of his face has that ruddy red(tippler?) yet moisturized and chemical peeled face w botox.
That picture was very creepy he was in the news within the last 3 weeks that tosser.
