I know this game came out like three years ago but I got it cheap on PS2 recently since it looked like my sort of game and wondered whether I should get around to playing it soon or leave it and find something else to play. I just wanna know peoples' opinions on it if they've played it.

Aww man the suffering is an amazing game, I bought it for a fiver thinking it could be a hit or a miss but it kept me hooked and up for quite a while. The setting is eerie as are the monsters, guns are fun plus its got the whole fable youre charecter changes on youre decisions.

You can take first or 3rd person depending on youre own playing style. The story is good but its also got the run and gun element to it if you just want to kill monsters.

Trust me if youre a horror fan you wont be disapointed freaky monsters, kick ass guns and gameplay that will screw with youre head.

Four out of five for me.

Hope this helps dude and kill some for me.

Dude if you love horror games then HELLS YEAH, what are ya waiting for? The Suffering is an amazing game which recieved very low scores upon release - even Xbox magazine gave it a 6 before reversing the score some months later and giving it an 8.

You play the latest inmate in a maximum security prison. Imprisoned for the murder of your wife, you encounter a motley crew of psychopaths, murderers, rapists, child molesters etc, these are the ONLY people you can trust as the prison appears to be under attack from a dark force. S**t will be flying out of your collar as inmates go missing, grabbed by tentacles and dragged out of windows; one buddy was even torn in two by an unseen foe as his top half begged me to kill him.

The way this game pans out is that you can either do good, bad or neutral with all three having endings of they're own. As you explore the labyrinthine prison, you will be presented with various scenarios, one being an innocent man tied to an electric chair ready for death. What do you do? Release him (good), kill him (bad), ignore him (neutral), all three decisions are backed by spirit voices like your dead wife (good), your dark side (bad) or your conscious.

I'll think I'll stop the spoilers there but damn, PLAY THE THING. The sequel is amazing too.

Oh the thing is an amazing ****ing game, one of the best survival horrors. Plus its one of the few games that managed to get group survival horror working, RE outbreak was a mess but the thing was a edge of youre seat game.

Another Bargain for a fiver. I got the game when the ps2 first came out so maybe even less than a fiver.

Sorry to double post but I'm getting into the game now and was wondering if I should buy the sequel in advance, I just wanna know;

1. is the storyline/gameplay as good as the first

2. does it work on XBox 360

1. is the storyline/gameplay as good as the first
It's more action orientated and set on the city streets. Maybe not as creepy as the first but still very worthy.

2. does it work on Xbox 360
Now that I don't know. Ain't there a list on the 360 site?

Well it says The Suffering is, but I don't see why TTB wouldn't be...

and i arrive.

Honestly, i dont think the online list will help you, it more jut plugging your 360 into a modem ,downlaoding the updates adn hoping for the best, some they have on there dont work, stubbs the zombie for example, whilst there are others like streangers wrath which arent on there but work fine.

id just not be so hasty to get rid fo your xbox, only reason i did was to get a ps2 with guitar hero 2:cool:

heres the link anyway.

and heres the much shorter U.K list:rolleyes:

I think I'll let this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamezville#.22The_Guru.22) do the talking. :D

i think the domonik daimond view on the show is just "During an interview with GamesMaster Magazine about his new game show When Games Attack, Dominik Diamond declared that "Gamezville is the equivalent to eating your own S**T, the producers must have thought "oh because we have black people in it must be street". "

gamesville sucked balls compared to gamesmaster, boooooooong!
