Posting in progress II

or maybe it was a post from 5-10 minutes prior unprocessed
by the website.

What do you mean it said "posting in progress"? When, where, any screen captures etc?

I've never come across that problem ever. :confused:

maybe it meant someone else's post was being put up,...
I don't think I was that rapid fire on Sat. night

You mean the "post loading" Screen that comes up when you type out a reply?

When you add a new reply to a topic, the forums takes a few seconds to add it to the database, update the stats and update your postcount.. if you do it pressing the "reply" button then you get a nice screen that tells you whats happening, if you use quick reply you dont see the notification but it takes the same length of time.

Is that what you mean?

I always push reply
and it was a few minutes since I replied to anything.
It didnt say anything about loading its said unable to process request posting in progress
I only had one http to this site and wasnt using back button to maybe get back to the page where I replied to
whatever,....
