Anyway I dont think hannibal is insane per se more warped logic. There are alot more fruity charecters than him and everything he does is logical even if very weird but you never see him trying to get the voices to be quiet or going catatonic without reason.

I voted Bateman, as you'll be able to figure out from the tail end of the ultimate bad ass thread. Hannibal has method to his calm and calculating and socially-involved madness.

Killing people has little to do with sanity... Sanity is more about motivation and perception of reality.

If I killed someone because I enjoyed killing it would make me a psychopath....

Well they both share aspects of each......

Bateman has to be at least a little psychotic to subconsciously invent such an insane reality....


and Hannibal has to be at least a little insane to justify his psychotic behavior logically....


So they both possess aspects of each but each are clearly more one, than the other...

I just want to point out that even though the movie of "American Psycho" leaves the ending of the film open to several different interpretations, according to the book, Bateman DOES kill those people. The point of the movie being that he didn't imagine it all, but the people around him are so soaked up in themselves and their money that they don't really care to actually hear that he's a madman at the edge of the rope and trying to confess.

But the movie does leave it open and i'm guessing the movies are what matters in this poll.:D

I have a 12 foot pop-up trailer/camper and it has everything including the kitchen sink - but it doesn't have a TV, which is fine with me when it's not raining and there's stuff to do outside, however...
