And not because it was overturned either.
Go here and read this crap: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/19074272/
Here is an excrempt from the article: But most of Horner’s evidence was barred at trial after the prosecution objected. Horner said Wednesday that Amero would not have been convicted if he had been allowed to present all of his evidence.
Another case of the prosecution just wanting to win, regardless if the person is innocent or not.
This pregnant woman could have received 40 YEARS for adult porn showing on her classroom computer that kids could see, because of SPYWARE!!
Stupid.

If America wasnt so terrified of sex , it would be dismissed quickly.
Nude people pleasing eachother is bad. If anybody should be explaining the birds & bees to the kids, it should be parents. So with that said, g*d-damn spyware almost ruined a teachers life because kids saw tits in the classroom.
America freaked out over Janet Jacksons wardrobe malfunction, while the commercials were all for erectile dysfunction, anybody else see this hypocracy?
Then they warn us about priaprism?

alot of loop holes.
Uhhh, did you even READ the article, dude?
It would be obvious to anyone with even a basic idea of Computers what happened. Though many "educated" professional types are shockingly ignorant about computers and the net, there is no way the prosecution wasnt aware of the possibility. It's a splashy show case and they ruined someones life for NO reason other than career advancement.
What I dont get is what the hell was the DEFENSE lawyer doing to not get it bounced right at the beginning? Maybe they didnt have access to the evidence, only the Govt did?
Everyone is created equal but some are more equal then others.

Thats ridick I can't believe they actually blamed her for that. When I went to school (feels like it was back in the stone age) we watched Wall Street with all the obscenities and nudity to boot. Of course my psych teacher also showed us that show with Archie Bunker but hey...
I think the parents wanted to punish someone for their kids curiosity and the DA went along with it.

i have read the complaint and it fraking disturbs me.
this teacher needs to walk. sounds like a crazy prosecutor (is it a get tough on crime election year, perhaps?) gone out of control. and a completely sick society that would rather die than have people under the age of 18 see (oh my god) naked people.
a scumbag like OJ is breathing free air and this teacher is sweating 40 years over pictures some kids saw on a computer???!!!!!!! land of free my white buttcheeks.

Good point. It's sad about what people choose to make national news. I always thought the fuss about the malfunction was way overblown. They need to use some common sense. Everybody knows that pop ups happen and they're out of your control.
