Hi everyone. With the help of good friend Chris Stavrakis, I've been able to get in touch with the Hare Krishna zombie from "Dawn of the Dead". Mike has been nice enough to agree to do an interview for this site. I have not emailed Neil yet about this, but I'm sure that Neil would love to have it on the site. Does anyone have any questions that they would like to ask? If so, let me hear them. Thanks and I hope to have the interview ready by sometime late next week.

Damn dude, where ya been. Oh, I know, scoring an interview with the most famous zombie ever!! My bad. Good to have you back.:D I'll probably come up with some better ones once i have a chance to think about it more, but here's a couple off the top of my head.

-What's it like being the most famous zombie ever?
-Does the line " I was the hari krishna zombie in dawn " Help him score many chicks?
-Who did he hang with during the filming of the movie/ who were the coolest people on set?
-What's his favorite memory from the shoot?
-What's Gar like to work with?

Did he do any research to prepare for the role? Like become a member of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness, perhaps?

I don't think it was a bad idea. You just take the ones you like and toss the rest out. every idea isn't gold.

I don't believe they do. They'd probably be branded terrorists anyway.

-The mall and the loft being different sets, how long was it between shoots?

-Did you and Gaylen have a lot of preparation before your battle in the loft?

-How long was the shoot in the loft, and how many days did you film at the mall?

-Did Mr. Romero give any insight into any commentary that was being provided by your character, more specifically, the religious icon that your character represented?

-What was your initial reaction to the film, and have you watched it recently?

I think he was in the shaved head band whose other members were in the film. Name of band, type of music, instrument played, website for listening to? (You probably already were going to ask this.)

That's bad if the ipitomy of krishna in a movie was turned down for a similar role. lol

- Has he ever tried to turn his krishna fame into profit?

-alot of movie sets have pranksters, joke tellers to keep it light hearted. Who played those roles on set if anyone?
-how cool was it to have access to the entire mall after dark?

If you're on myspace, check out http://www.myspace.com/hkzombie

It's the real dude, with then and now pics, and he's starting to do conventions, which is cool. Here's a pic of the band he was in with the Airport Zombie (John Paul Musser):
