tobe honest id take this trend over remakes anyday, just no remlins 3 or jurassic park 4, let em stay dead.

It's the lesser of 2 evils i guess. If you think about it though they have the same basic storyline as the old films they made 20 years ago anyway. So in that sense they're like remakes anyway.
